Need help in updating website

    I’m really an amateur in programming and really appreciate if someone could shine some light on this problem.
    i’ve just upgraded to wordpress 2.7 and asked a friend to update my wordpress with a new theme.He passed me an sql file and all necessary wordpress file(i think).
    I figured how o upload all the wordpress file and also the mysql but now my site (www.silentt.net) has just the text on it without the theme.when i go to /wp-login its still text and i also cant login .They gave an error, FAILED TO CONNECT.i noticed the directory at the top was https://localhost/wordpress.If i’m not wrong, its should at least be https://www.silentt.net/wp-admin.php.I really clueless and frustated on this.Please someone help me out.I be glad to share the files if needed.
