Need Help in installing WordPress locally

    I am facing problem in installing wordpress in my local computer.i have created database and is using wampserver2.2. when i tried to connect to https://localhost/wp-admin/install.php/ it says
    Error establishing a database connection
    This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or we can’t contact the database server at localhost. This could mean your host’s database server is down.

    whats the solution.
