Need help in bulk content restriction

  • Hi .. I want to protect certain content of each post. The user should pay to see the restricted content of that post. I have over 1000 such custom posts. Basically they are the listings and I want to show the contact details of the listing to the user who pays for that listing.
    So do I need to create 1000 membership levels ?
    If I have the same price for all the individual content then can there be a way in which I just need to create one membership level and put a code in template file so that it gets mapped to each individual post through post-id or something.

    Please suggest.

    Are you talking about the whole content or partial content? If you are wanting to partially protect some of the content, we have the following addon apply-partial-section-protection.

    The addon I suggested above will work for you.

    But I want the user should pay per post to access that restricted content.

    Creating a paid membership level will make the visitor pay to view the content.

    Also, I do not want to create 100s of membership for each post manually.

    The following documentation apply-protection-posts-pages-bulk should help you protect your posts in bulk.

    However when you want to use partial protection on a post or page, you should not protect the full post or the category that the post belongs to. When you apply category protection for a category, all the posts in that category is fully protected (category protection overrides any other protection in the post).

    Unfortunately at present you can only choose one option and not both.
