• Hey guys,

I was just wondering if anyone knew how to do this with WordPress:

I read up on Category Templates and added some. However, they are not showing up in my WordPress dashboard’s sidebar. Can anyone advise me on how to go about doing that like it’s shown in the screen shot below? You’ll notice that under “blog”, there is also “Services” and “Portfolio”.

I want to create something similar:

  • The “Services” and “Portfolio” menu items will have been added by a plugin or possible by your theme. Category templates do not appear as menu items in your Admin area. See category templates.

    Thank Yo Esmi!

I was wondering by any chance, how to create similar “Blog” pages where I can add posts to using the Admin Dashboard? I.e., something like

“Blog” (list of posts in the WordPress dashboard here)

“Portfolio (List of posts under “Portfolio” in the WordPress dashboard here)

“Services (List of posts under “Portfolio” in the WordPress dashboard here)

And for each one, make it possible to add categories for “Portfolio” and “Services” similar to how you can add categories for “Blog”?

Is this achieved through Category Templates as well?
