  • I have just had a protracted struggle with googleads and the validator. Here is a wierd thought. Immediately after the open ul there is a br tag. Now I wonder. Nothing else seems obviously amiss.

    Well I know that is what it says The problem is that we cant see a missing ul anywhere obvious. In my experience with the validator sometimes we need to look outside the wording of the immediate error to what is causing it. HTH. We have all been there. And then some.

    Above googleads, you have:
    li
    ul
    li
    and below:
    /li
    /li
    /ul
    Change that order maybe ?

    I agree with Root …. sometimes one error masks another, and until you get *that* …

    If you alter that pattern above, and then add another /ul under them, it should be okay ?

    Well my head is starting to spin.

    Thanks everybody I got it ^__^ i changed the order and added another

    like podz suggested and it seems to be holding up ??
    Root: my head always spins when it comes to nested tags, my mind always twists itself up, lol
