need help getting to work with divi/ divi overlays

i can get the plugin to work ok on a page or post, but i want it running as an exit popup to offer a coupon code for a like or tweet.
the exit overlay opens, but no social locker.

i do get various erros within inspect element/console, but these errors only come up when i run the short code for the social locker in the divi overlay
