Need Help for Smooth Headline Posts Image Switching

Hello there,

I have some issue that I thought I can get help from wordpress forum.

This is regarding the headline section of my site – https://www.clbuzz.com . I have previous and next buttons on the homepage same like the https://us.wwe.com/ to navigate between the headline posts of the site.

There is a huge delay for the corresponding image to appear of a new post, when I click on the next button.

When asked to my theme designer he replied… Unfortunately this is an issue with the way certain browsers handle CSS.
Because the 2-5th posts are hidden, the browse will not load the image on them until they are clicked. once this image has been viewed once, it will be cached by the browser.

My point is: This feature is currently available in plenty of sites like wwe.com , mlb etc. Those sites show it smooth.

What could be the problem with the implementation in clbuzz.

Help would be greatly appreciated.
