• They are at crownequityholdings.com and crwenews.com. They currently have 9 links at the top of the page that I would like to edit but I can’t find the file that is calling them out. I have looked at index, header, just about every php and html file in the root, wp-content, wp-includes, wp-admin folders and throughout the server and cant find the call out, or even the file that makes the call out for these links. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

  • the div tag with the table containing those links is in the <head> section of the page (as I noticed yesterday).

Looking again at the page source code – that info is coming between these tags

    <!– all in one seo pack 1.4.6.8 [307,355] –>

    .
. the style, div, table code is here
    .
    .
. followed by some META data
    .

    <!– /all in one seo pack –>

I would suspect the stuff you are looking for is buried in that SEO pack somewhere. Just a thought.

EDIT: For starters, just try disabling that SEO plugin and see if the links go away. If so, then you know you’re on the right track and I would go edit those files to look for the offending code.

I just installed all-in-one-SEO to see what it was about. You might check the Settings page, then All In One SEO – on that page are some options near the bottom that could possibly be where someone entered some html. I just tried it on mine and it shows up in the page source between the SEO tags.
