Need help customizing CSS

  • Hiya, my website is https://bildo.org/wordpress/ and as you can see, the wordpress isn’t done yet. What I want is the red highlighted area ( see pic https://bildo.org/example.gif ) to be white and also white behind the page.php, and sidebar.php.

    I also would like to setup an extra column just left of the post area, that is the color of the orange in the header. this will be where i will put extra links to a pictures section of my website and etc stuff as well. I don’t want to use the built in link system in wordpress.

    The CSS i am using is the default theme that came with it.

    Can anyone help?

    wordpress.com is for free, and hosts your blog for you
    www.remarpro.com is for free, and supports you hosting it yourself
    mu.www.remarpro.com is for free, and supports you hosting it yourself, with multiple users (as if you wanted to have your own version of wordpress.com)

    gimme a break – it’s clearly the same company with different products. (which all happen to be free, you ungrateful snit) THAT’s why.

    pepsico owns pepsi, taco bell, pizza hut, and kfc. they don’t open up “pepsico” stores and sell everything in the same place, do they? no. think before you speak.

    He went to town with my spelling. I guess someone with a 30% disability, a five inch tremor on the left hand side, and who spends a good part of his day assisting 17 Open Source projects is an easy target when that person goes out of their way to tell him he’s at the wrong site.

    An asshole and a bigot. *sigh* Must be related to my ex mother in law.
