• I want the layout of my website i.e anything after the home looking exactly like the one on this site, spent all night trying snippets that didn’t give me the desired outlook. Once you click on that designated URL above say *about us*for example it takes a mini page to the left, making the *about us* page itself become a page filled with Chunked small boxes with little inscriptions on it.

Should I get things this way,it helps my home page featured pages.
    Please a geek should respond.

    Appreciative regards.
    Much love.

Even if I can’t get that 100%,@ least an abridged version that still sells the same idea, something that enables me have contents as links on my left side bar as a click link then a synonymous page layout.

Can’t connect to that site today.

Still no link to your site?

Here’s my site Sir Dave *excited, you showed up.giggles* and here’s the link to the proposed site am sampling.

    Thanks a trillion times

As I said in another post, you seem to be looking to change your page layout (other than Home) to:

Left Sidebar – Main Content – Right Sidebar

And then you can add Widgets to both sidebars.

As Czr has been updated with a pretty major release, I need you to update to 3.2.1 otherwise I’ll be referencing paths that don’t make sense.

Okay I definitely will jump on that opportunity to update, but I have few questions regards the update as am scared not to start all over again.

*Do I have to backup the implored snippets in the CSS.stylesheets and function.php file so that I don’t loose anything. Because I can vividly remember a column that explained that one can loose all of its entire design once he/she makes an upgrade on any theme without proper backup of the respective snippets used in the child theme designs.

*Do I update by uninstalling the previous parent theme, and install this new one as am currently not seeing the regular update this update that features on my wo admin dashboard—-“scared of the white screen of death”
    Kindly put me through Sir.

    Thanks for your legendary response.

    Kind regards,

Side note: @josherons Could you please do me a favor? Please don’t create duplicate topics.

You’re using this theme and getting support, but when you post your site and problems to many places then you make it harder for volunteers like rdellconsulting, who is doing great as usual ?? to support you.

    Oppps,*smile* that’s the result of panic…

Treating it right now and will go by the side note instructions.

    Thanks Mr #Jan

    Sincerely appreciate..

Good practice is that you ought to have backups anyway in case something goes wrong. But usually, the update is a smooth process. Basically, the contents of wp-content/themes/customizr will be replaced by the update. Your customization will be in a different folder (eg wp-content/themes/customizr-child) and so are not touched by the update. Nic, the author, does everything he can to make new code backward compatible so all your customization should continue to work.

You don’t need to uninstall the parent theme, the update will do what it says – Update!

As the 3.2.1 code is not yet automatically being offered, you can get ahead by updating using the zip file.

Thanks Sir Dave, by going ahead Sir you mean by unzipping it;copying and pasting it in the designated file path above on my cpanel/localhost as it seemsmm?.

Should I be right, as I have implemented it on my *wamp* locally and it seems to work smoothly as written. But how do I proceed from here even as am about implementing the same process on my *actual* server online to get the synonymous result as previously discussed above in regards page layout and the rest.

I use FTP to transfer from localhost to server.

When ready, take a look in:
Customize>Content>Pages & Posts Layout and select Global default Layout as 2 sidebars.

Good Evening Sir,thanks alot for your consistent sapid
    *effort* over time.
Will definitely look into *FTP-ing* the update after I watch a
you-tube vid on how it’s properly done.

Newbie+++ kinda shaky on this one. But like I previously wrote, anything from you is top-notch.
    So amma risk it.

    Thanks,
    kind regards..#hugs.
