Need Clarification About Terms

  • Could someone help me understand the difference between the two terms “Visit Site” and “Visit Store” in the dashboard?

    When clicking on them, I am taken to two entirely different pages.

    Also, the terms ‘Home Page,” “Shopping Page,” and “Front Page” all would seem to be synonymous to me, but it appears that they aren’t, so I am confused as to just what I should be doing with each page. I hope that this is the appropriate place for posting this question.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • “Home Page” and “Front Page” are indeed synonymous, but Shop Page and Visit Store refer the the Shop Page as defined in WooCommerce. This will be the page that all your products or – depending on settings – categories will appear. It’s set in WooCommerce > Settings > Products.
