Need avatar plugin (NOT gravatars)

  • is there a plugin that show avatars in comments and allow users to directly upload it trough admin panel and reject o resize if it’s too big ?

    What’s so wrong with Gravatars? Skippy’s plugin allows upload in the admin area.

    which way ? i only see “gravatars” under users men?1 and there’s only a textarea where to paste an address … I would like a upload utility like IImagebrowser plugin, and also I pasted a link of a 150x150px and it show a 150x150px avatar where the limit should be 40x40px …

    Oh, hmm, thought it allowed uploading. Guess not. ??

    I don’t find either of the two gravatar plugins I have seen to be all that great.Basically it seems a hit and miss game.Some ppl are able to get them up and some aren’t.I also think poorly written instructions have a lot to do with people looking for other “options”.

    I spent my 1/2 my day on it today, if there was a way to lower the security so that members could each link their own if they wish. Sure works great if you’ve got a gravatar, but if you’d like to link one, only the admin can do that. Lower security members cannot access it through their profile.

    If someone knows what determines the security settings in the plug in, let me know the trick.
