    Hello,

Perhaps I don’t understand how to enable my site to be searched. Please help. You can see that this page, and indeed, most of my pages say noindex.

In Yoast, I set noindex to tags and categories. Date Archives is set to ON, although I don’t include the date in my permalinks.

This is an old website, but I still need it to be seen, since it’s attached to my first blog. If tags, categories and archives are all OFF, my site is invisible, with no backlinks! Why is noindex on this page, when it should show as an archive, please?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

As per my knowledge, there is a problem with your configuration. In Yoast Seo go to Search Appearance and keep Show Posts in search results? “On” to get the post in search results and do the same for other taxonomies (Tags & Category) and archives as per your needs. Moreover, resubmit your sitemap to the google search console.

    Thank you.

Yes, Single Post settings are on. So are Archives. Tags and Categores are off, so I won’t have duplication.

Console Crawled, but won’t Index them, since it says noindex!

    Hey @fallback2,

Thank you for using Yoast SEO and for reaching out!

I’ve checked the URL and can confirm that there is a noindex on this specific URL, I checked the blog URL on /park_blog/ which is just fine, and other blog posts do not have the noindex on them. So it looks like this specific blog post has been noindexed.

Can you open the blog post and scroll down to the Yoast metabox? Under the Advanced section, you most likely have it on “No” under Allow search engines to show this Post in search results? Can you check?
