Need advice on gallery / slideshow

Hi all,

I’m looking for a solution to create a specific gallery type. I’ve not found a plugin or other way to do this, so I was wondering if anyone could offer advice:

– A portfolio site which shows one image (static slideshow) and separate navigation buttons to go to previous / next image (contained in the sidebar)

– there must also be a link to “view all” or “thumbnails” which is a completely separate page which holds thumbnails of all images in the above slideshow. Clicking on them takes you to that image within the order of the slideshow

– the above thumbnail gallery should have masonry organisation

– The gallery will ideally be organisable like standard WordPress galleries (for reordering, tagging etc. purposes)

I’m not the best with creating my own PHP – I can handle modifying others when I need to.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
