Need advice: How to repost an older post

  • In honor of National Coffee Day, I want to repost an old post with my poem, A Writer’s Ode to Coffee.
    What’s the easiest way to go about this?

    Not sure how to find out what version of WordPress I have.

    Found my WP version: WordPress 3.9.2 running MT dark theme.

    if you want to just show the same post at the top of the list and no need to duplicate then just change the post date.

    If you look at the post when you are editing it,
    look to the top right side of the screen wher you would “update” blue button.

    Above it you will see a published date, “edit” modify it to right now and it will be the top of the list or front of your page if you have it set that way.
