• Hi,

We need a way to disable the 1 choice limit on layers marked as “no choice”. We have products which fit differently based on other selections (and images change) and do not wish to either duplicate the same products over and over to have different images or to have endless single choice layers in the backend. We wish to hold all variation images in a no choice layer, which can be shown with conditional logic.

Is there a way to remove this limit as it seems arbritary?

    TIA.

I’ll look at what’s possible, as it might not be that simple.

Though depending on your needs, you can try to use a normal layer (whether simple or multiple choice) and make it act a bit like the “no choice” layer, by enabling the settings “Hide this layer in the cart / checkout / order” and “Hide this layer in the menu”. This also allows using the Sync ID feature, if those elements need to follow the exact changes of an other layer.

    Hey Marc,

    Thanks for looking into it.

Have considered your suggestion but then we have the issue that the summary block still picks up these layers even if they are marked as hidden.

This shouldn’t be the case anymore in the last version of the plugin.

    Hey Mark,

I’m running v1.3.1 and it still shows.

    Hi there,

I see, I obviously didn’t fix this very well ??
I’ll make sure it works as expected.

I took a look at removing the limit of the “not a choice” layer, but doing so could potentially break existing configurations. So I will look for a different solution (probably adding a new layer type which does the same thing).

    Amazing, thanks!
