Need a Theme PHP fix?
-
Hey out there,
Okay, so here’s my dilemma… I have found and implemented what I think is a great theme, “Freshy 2.”
I’d love to use it for a blog hub for an ezine with 7,000 opted-in readers… all marketers who might be interested in starting their own WP blogs one day…
But there’s one problem.
The template has a bug. When you customize “quicklinks” you can set them up, but if you don’t like them you can’t delete them. I now have two that overlap at the top.
I’ve tried reloading the theme, but the setting for the quicklinks must now be located somewhere outside the actual theme folder. Where? I’ve written to the designer of the template, PHP programmer forums, etc. But can’t get a response out of anybody.
What I’m hoping, at this point, is that someone can at least tell me where to look for customized settings in the file database hierarchy so I can try to duck into the actual PHP coding (about which I know zilch) and see if I can remove it there without mucking anything else up.
I’m getting desperate, because I’ve got a deadline on when the site will go live and I really don’t want to ditch this theme. Any ideas anyone?
Thanks in advance.
