• Hi, I have two different user-roles: Buyer, Seller

I want to charge the buyer on registration a one time or subscription fee. However, I do not want the user account to be created on WordPress unless the payment is successful.

I want to use Stripe for the payment.

One solution I have is MembersPress which I think is too expensive for just this use.

I could use Stripe custom payment URLs to get the payment, but it still does not solve the issue where I need the user registration form and payment to work hand in hand, so that only once payment is successful, the user account is created.

  • Memberpress is one of the most used and popular WordPress membership plugins and is easy to use. So, membership is the best option to solve your issue.

But you can use alternatively strong competitors of Memberpress aMember Pro. The main reason to consider these Plugins as an alternative is their lifetime plan ($149), which offers advanced or somehow similar features as in Memberpress and gives you 30 days of trial.

Another Memberpress alternative list that fits your budget is Restrict Content Pro. Restrict content pro comes with the same features and provides a User-friendly setup and configuration. The plans start from just $99/year, plus it supports a one-time plan. As well as comes with the benefits of 30 days refund policy. So without any trouble, you can try this plugin.
