    Hi, I’ve been sent here from the Everything forum so hope this isnt classed as cross posting??
    I’m fairly well up with doing a normal WP site but now need to do a shopfront, displaying lots of products with prices but prefer the customer to ring before ordering over the phone. Then we can make sure the customer orders exactly the product which is best for him/her.
    Is it best to use woocommerce storefront but with no ecommerce back end or is there a better / simpler way? Would I also need a theme?
    We’ll be advertising things like bikes, skateboards surfboards etc. etc.
    Many thanks Chris

    Hello @rockingh!

    From your description, it sounds like you’re looking to set up a store with prices listed, but you would like to remove the capability to purchase the items. This would require the customer to call your business and order over the phone.

    This is possible, but not with WooCommerce “out of the box”. If you’re already set up with a WordPress theme, then you don’t need a new one for WooCommerce. We just typically recommend looking for themes that state they are WooCommerce compatible.

    So for this set up, you will need the following:

    * Your WordPress website
    * Install WooCommerce
    * The premium plugin, Catalog Visibility Options: This removes the capability to purchase on your site and turns it into an online catalog.

    If you haven’t worked with WooCommerce before, I also suggest checking out the Getting Started documentation to get you started.

    Cheers!

    many thanks Erica.
    At least at first to see how it goes we wanted to try something free rather than premium.
    I suppose even a basic table would work but it would be nice to eventually go ecommerce if we decide to.
    Has anyone any more ideas please.
