Need a scrolling text line in POST

    I want a scrolling line of text running across the centre column of my site …… I’d like it to run fully across all three columns but I doubt that is possible.

    I’ve seen widgets for the sidebars but how can I best achieve what I want ?

    ….. and can I run java applets within WordPress because that would give me various scrolling text options ?
