Well. Tell him THANK YOU for pointing this out. Because you were pretty dismissive when it came down to him pointing out it was a security issue. It was a big issue. You should have a public ‘Thank you, Outdoorsmen, for explaining this and being patient with us through all this to solve the issue. We could have handled it better and we’ll take this as a lesson learned as to HOW to handle these things better in the future.’

You don’t have to compensate or pay him, goodness no, but a thank you for all the work he did, for free, to prove to you that it was an issue? That should be thanked ??
