• Hi everyone,
I need a good newsletter plugin that will offer me the ability to add the newsletter form in a page and not in the sidebar.

I am using a theme that has no sidebars (one-page theme) so I cannot use widgets.

I am using “MailChimp Widget” and the MailChimp service for months now and I’m very satisfied.
If there is a plugin that allows to insert the newsletter form in a page and cooperates with MailChimp, I’ll take it!

    Thank you in advance.

  • Yes, Gravity Forms does that with its MailChimp addon. It’s not free but is by far the best forms plugin out there. It will save you a ton of time creating forms.

You just want to insert a MailChimp subscription form into a page or post? That functionality is built into the MailChimp plugin. See the instructions:

First of all, thank you all for your replies.
They are all valuable and working!

pixelyzed, your solution is the best for everyone that wants to create forms. I will have it in mind the next time and for a next project (if I would be paid :-)). Thank you for your suggestion.

RichardWPG, yes I have used this plugin in some other projects and it works fine. Thank you for your suggestion.

jason_lane, I’ll take yours. It is just perfect for my needs in the particular website. Thank you for waking me up! I didn’t even know that there is a shortcode option…

Yeah, I think it would be helpful if there were a reference to the shortcode on the plugin’s settings page. Even when you know the shortcode exists, it’s still a pain to have to go to the plugin’s homepage to find out what the shortcode actually is.

MailChimp devs, could you make that happen?

mc_nate, you and your team do a wonderful job.
I think that all credits go to jason_lane for this suggestion.

In any case, I believe that by reading and writing to this post, you have done the half way. The other half is adding the shortcodes to the settings page ??

Thank you very much for making our lives easier!
