Need a lot of advice for nicer, cleaner look

I own a blog, https://pettelle.com, for several months. And, I have been updating daily… The other day, someone who reads my blog told me that I need to have a nicer, cleaner look to my page! After reviewing it, I agree…

1. What are ALL of the problems with the site?
2. What are the solutions to making it look nice?
3. Is it just the template? Or, is it, also, modules?
4. Can anyone recommend any quality FREE template? I prefer blue?

In addition, my site is about celebrities, pets, and youtubers. Some people have said this mix is fine… Personally, I think, it is fine because people have emailed me and said it was a nice mix. However, one person told me its too much… At one point, I wanted a template where there were two blog rolls and two columns. I found some good templates, but they did not work as properly as I wanted…
