Currently, the workaround available to achieve what you described is the code snippet in this guide: How to Display the Confirmation and the Form Again After Submission.

If that code is not working for you, please be sure to change 235?to match your own form ID, as described here.

Also, for the most beginner-friendly option to add a custom code like that on your site, I’d recommend using the WPCode plugin. Could you please try again to use the code snippet in that guide using the WPCode plugin?
