• I have a separate domain for a client right now that is pointing to a host that doesn’t support the necessary wordpress requirements currently. I am planning on changing the nameservers to point to a host I currently use for myself. Once I’ve done this I plan on installing wordpress for that other domain to have a total of two wordpress blogs on a single host but under two separate domain names. Once I point the new domain to my host is there anything I need to add in my ftp to have that domain look in a certain directory or will that be automated? Also, when installing wordpress for that other domain would it be easiest to set up another database for that particular wordpress site to run on through my cpanel? Or, if not, is there a good guide explaining how to do all the questions I asked?

  • Easiest solution is, You should use “Add-on Domain” feature from your cPanel. After adding domain using this feature you will have a New Folder in your file manager.

You can use same database for 2 domains using Multi-site features. But it will be good to make 2 databases.

It will be great if you include the name of your Hosting Provider. Thanks.
