Neat attempt, but quite buggy.
-
I just got the Pro Version for an online presence. I expected this tool to save me work over integrating ChartJS myself and entering the data manually into the JS arrays. I’m slowing regreting my purchase as I edit this buglist for the 5th time. Bugs dimish the experience, some bugs are *really* annoying/bad.
These bugs have shown up whilst working with columcharts:
– Whenever I dublicate a Chart with the ChartJS API it clones the chart but sets the Google API as default. Resulting in making some adjustments such as tick setting impossible. I have yet to find a way to change the API after a chart has been created.
– Each Chart with manual data has “Array” as a title
– Manual data doesn’t save unless you refresh the chart view in edit mode. Hit “Save Chart”, see overview with no changes, all work gone … super annoying
– Cloned Charts with invisible legends have their legends visible again
– Text is squished in columcharts when loading them for editing
– Column colors change randomly when switching between data editor and chart view. The fun part: The last new colors are automaticaly saved even though I didn’t save them. … WTF?
Missing feature:
– Still havent found a way to color colums individually. With the “random surprise color” bug from above this makes any sort of coloring an adventure and an excercise in praying and hoping. Conclusion:
This still needs some serious work. This is a release candidate at best, not a finished product. Very frustrating.- This topic was modified 5 years, 6 months ago by .
