Nearly crashed my server

    Im running very late versions of PHP, WP, MYSQL on Centos 5.x

    After installing this plugin on one of my sites, and trying the first A/B test things went crazy.

    My quad core XEON monster server was brought to its knees with 100% CPU usage.
    PHP and MYSQL processes were spiked.

    All 8 processors showed 100% usage. Production server crashed once under load. Had to reboot. This is a lightly loaded production server.

    Finally tracked it down to this plugin. SHOW FULL PROCESS LIST showed a ton of NULL queries in MYSQL coming from the only website that was using this plugin I just activated.

    Unix system load was 50+. After deactivating the plugin, load immediately dropped to 2.3 and everything was fine.

    Just a heads up…. there is some nasty bug in this plugin. I dont have time to track it down. But thought you should be aware of it.

    Hi 5lions,

    This is the first report of this kind I’ve had, I’d say it’s probably caused by some incompatibility with something else on your site or some server setting.

    Would appreciate if you could provide more info if possible, but I understand if you can’t. I’m going to mark this resolved and if I run into anything or uncover anything I’ll post back here with details.
