• I had a problem during the installation on one of my sites, probably because of a plugin (WPML?) I didn’t have time to modify everything so I didn’t insist but I installed this plugin on another site and it works without problem.

I appreciated the quick response from support and when I have time I will look into this again.

    Hi @nvmweb,

Sorry to hear that you’re unhappy with the plugin. While I didn’t notice a support topic open from whereby we could assist, I’d be happy to work with you to ensure you can set up and use the plugin as expected.

In order to do so, can you share more details on what’s not working for you? For example do you encounter an error or warning during set up that doesn’t allow you to complete set up?

We also have some guides on the plugin website in relation to possible errors users may encounter.

    Hi James,

I appreciate your prompt react! I’ve check where the problem could come from by clicking on help, but it was told to check for an incompatibily with a plugin, and I haven’t time to do it (because for some of theme I have to redo setting ?? ). I must admit that I was a little rushed and annoyed ?? . It was a question of “client ID” which did not work and refused any configuration. When you have read my answer, I will remove this star because your plugin is installed on another of my sites and it works correctly. WPML may be the plugin that could be the problem because it’s the only difference with the site that works and this plugin often affects urls.

Many thanks for the update @nvmweb. Indeed there can be some plugins that can cause conflicts, although there are workarounds in many cases. In the event you’re encountering an invalid client ID or similar message, a plugin reset usually does allow users to proceed (Tools > Available Tools > Reset Site Kit), however, they will need to set up all modules once again if performing a plugin reset. We have more information on one such message here, on the plugin website

As you’re a WPML user, depending on your configuration, you may need to define your WordPress address constant, using the steps I provided for another user in this support topic. I’m happy to provide further assistance on this if you find that the plugin reset above didn’t work, or that you keep encountering the same message based on WPML after applying the canonical filter.

Looking forward to your response, let me know if you have any questions.
