    Hi there.

My developer has discovered that & nbsp; is being inserted into the copy on our website by Autoptimize.

We’d love your direction in how to clear this up so our content appears as it is in the WordPress and the source code.

It’s happening on multiple pages, but the link provided has many examples. Check this passage of copy:

I think I should probably qualify that statement before all the bass experts point out how difficult many bass lines are. The bass is an easy instrument to learn if you stick with simple bass lines. Now, as luck would have it, rock music is full of famous songs with easy bass lines.

It has many & nbsp; inserted.

    Thanks ??

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

same thing happening with AO disabled (by adding ?ao_noptimize=1 to the URL) @oliverjdb

Probably some of your plugins’ JS is doing this (which ends up in the autoptimized JS-file when AO is active), no idea which one I’m afraid.

hope this clarifies (well, a bit at least),

    Thanks Frank.

I use Cloudflare and KeyCDN – would disabling Autoptimise in the way you did prevent it being served via the CDNs?

I thank you for your feedback though. I’ll do some deactivate/reactivate of plugins and see what makes a difference.

    Cheers ??

CDN(‘s) would still work, but they would probably have to fetch new versions from the origin site.

Good luck hunting the culprit down! ??

I’ll close this as resolved from AO’s pov, but feel free to follow up here Oliver ??
