• Hi, I have a WP site that had previously been on html and was converted to WP this week. Certain pages consistently go to “404 page not found”. The pages are definitely there, and the problem is going from one specific page to 3 other specific pages.
I had someone from godaddy (where I have my hosting) tell me it is a “navigation” issue. Not totally sure what this means but….any suggestions as to how to fix? Thanks so much! Cheers….

  • I’m having the same problem. Called Godaddy and they said it’s a WordPress database problem and they have been hearing about it for a week or so. Just posting so I can see how you resolve it, maybe it will work for mine too!

I did little more research and found the solution. Go to your admin page and select settings>permalinks and click on “Save”. The problem should be resolved. Note: hover over settings and then click on “Permalinks”.

Hi Laser Image…and I am willing to bet the person Godaddy has been hearing it from the most is….me! But thanks for replying. As it turns out, the permalinks thing is not the issue in my case (I tried resetting permalinks and it didn’t work) and have been told it is some form of “navigation” issue….
