Upon completing a media replacement it seems that the default action is to return the user to the media library, as opposed to the edit page for the media that was replaced, is that correct? This is rather frustrating as if I want to make additional edits to the media after replacing it I have to go back through the media library to find it again. I also use the Media Library Assistant plugin so if I was working with a subset of files in the Assistant the completion of the media replacement brings me back to the default media library, rather than to the Assistant and the last grouping of files I was working with. It seems it would be most convenient to bring the user back to the edit page for the media that was replaced.

  • This is actually a good idea. The redirect is a choice I made before WP had built-in editing options. I’ll consider your suggestion for the next version of the plug-in. Thank you!
