    Hi laptophobo,

Could you explain what you mean a little more clearly – perhaps you have an example?

If you mean you want to retain the same layout and have the panel slide over the content of your page without shifting it, you can do that in the ShiftNav General Settings under “Shift Body”

If you mean something like you want to change the orientation from a vertical left bar to a horizontal top bar, that’s not something that ShiftNav does, sorry.

    Hope that helps,

    Chris

    Hi Chris,
It was horizontal top bar that I’m seeking. Thanks for getting back so quickly.

You’re welcome – sorry not to be more helpful in this instance ??

    Hi Chris,
Is it possible to show ShiftNav menu only on mobile devices, not even in desktop version?
If it is possible, please tell me how to do that?
    Thank you

    Hi enis,

You can set the width at which ShiftNav will show up – so for example, you can set it to 480 to show only on smaller screens. It will, of course, still display when you resize your desktop browser to that width.

There isn’t a way to do true mobile detection built in, but you could potentially use the wp_is_mobile function to show/hide a custom toggle only for mobile. Just be aware of the issues with server-side browser detection and caching.

    Hope that helps ??

    Chris
