Navigation No permission & missing menu

  • Hi
    I (administrator) dont seem to have permission to add pages to my navigation block when I click on it in the template editor in list view
    There is no menu when I click on the navigator block either.
    Could anyone help please?

    I think I’ll just leave it for now
    I don’t change the menu very often, just the page content
    And I have managed to edit my menu via the gutenverse pluggin as an intermediate step with some trial and error
    I tried Ambitio FSE theme (found the filter for FSE in the themes page) and it had the same problem
    Thanks for all your help, I think I have a working solution even though I didn’t find the solution

    Wait! Hold the press!

    I can select menu, edit, manage etc in the FSE Globetrotter theme!

    P’raps it is a problem with Twentytwentytwo?

    That is an unexpected plot twist!

    I’m really not sure how this is possible seeing as the block will use the same REST API endpoints no matter which theme is used.

    So that really doesn’t make any sense!

    I’ll have a think about this and get back to you.

    Well, it did work with Globetrotter ….
    Just now I went back to try it again, and ….
    You do not have permission …..
    But it did work the first time, honest LOL
