navigation bar spacing on 2011 theme?

    hi,

    how do i make the right margin of the twenty eleven theme smaller on the navigation menu?

    i think the problem is that the search bar is hidden. anyway to get rid of it completely? i just want the menu all the way across the black strip in one line, not two. there should be plenty of room, it’s not the font size issue. even when i had it smaller text it stopped before the edge and got pushed over.

    here again:

    #branding .only-search + #access div {
	padding-right: 205px;
}

    add this with a reduced padding to the style.css in the child theme

    thank you that worked. i did do a search but could only find how to hide it, guess i was in too much of a hurry.
