Navigate back from Gallery to Album Page

@rebop – Have you enabled the breadcrumbs option for the specific inserted album display? Also, if you are using a NextGEN Legacy template for the album, it may affect the breadcrumbs being displayed.

Hi again,

I have everything working exactly as I desire with two exceptions and would appreciate a little he;p finding a fix:

1. I have breadcrumbs working, but they do not go up to the top level. For example, I have a page with 5 albums. Each album, has one gallery. When I click an album and display those gallery images in a fancybox, then close and use breadcrumbs, it takes me back to the album. I want to return to the page that has multiple albums. What am I missing here?

2. I have galleries set to display 20 images per page. When display in the fancy box gets to image 10, instead of going to 21 on the next page it stops. Am I missing a setting there as well?

Sorry, one more and I thought I had this one licked yesterday….

Open an image in the music album. You can see the header from my site visible at the top. Especially on portrait images.

Can I hide that?

@rebop – If you are referring to the “Images by …” album it is showing when I visit the page, at least when I start at it (the link you provided is not displaying images?!)

As to the number of images being displayed in the Lightbox effect, you will need to go under Gallery > Gallery Settings > NextGEN Basic Thumbnails to set the “Add hidden images” option to yes. This will then allow those galleries navigated to via the album to show all images in the Lightbox (although if you are not using one of the bundled Lightbox libraries included with NextGEN Gallery this feature may not work).

As to removing the “header”, you would need to use the “Link to page” option for each gallery in the album and insert the appropriate gallery on that page although it will then not have the option to show the album breadcrumbs because you are no longer displaying the galleries within the album’s page.

Thanks so much. I would have never associated Hidden Images with spanning pages of the gallery ??

I think I will have to live with the header. It only becomes an issue is you open a gallery or image with the header on-screen. If it has scrolled off, no issue. So maybe not a common occurrence.
