nav-menus is broken in the newest update

  • Installed the newest update. Now, nav-menus.php doesn’t work. It just sits there with the spinner turning – endlessly.

    I have a BRAND NEW site, with five pages and all plugins disabled – nothing going on. And, the nav-menus.php just spins. No joy.

    I’ve tried reinstalling WP, but this new update appears to be broken.

    I have several other sites on which we performed the update – were working previously – ALL NOW BROKEN.

    I’ve got plenty of mem allocated, and in any case it should be irrelevant for the new site with nothing in it…

    Which had no effect on the symptoms I’m getting.

    Anyone have any ideas?
