nav links on page of custom post types, with permalinks

  • I am having some problems with permalinks and custom post types.

    Please take a look at my blog: https://www.bassettprovidentia.com

    If I have permalinks set to “default”, everything works – but the URLs look bad.

    If I turn the permalinks to any of the other settings, either I cannot view one of my custom post types (news), or the navigation for the page of custom post types (news) does not work.

    Does anyone have any pointers?
