• Hi there, this is a really wonderful theme, however I was hoping someone could help make some very small changes to alter the styling. I assume it’ll all be custom css rules but I haven’t had much luck yet figuring out how to make the changes.

Firstly, is there a way I can adjust the width of the nav bar? Currently It stretches quite a substantial way past the actual content of the page below and looks a little odd.

Secondly, how can I centre the nav bar menu items? So far they are all the way over on the left side of the page and there is no balance with the content above or below.

Thirdly, could you explain how to adjust the width of the content area of the “full width” page template? Currently is is substantially narrower than the nav bar width (it’s less than 800px wide for instance).

Lastly, is there a way to hide the home page title by any chance?

Thanks again for all the help!

  • Hello there!

The navigation bar takes up the entire available content width, as does the content + sidebar on any page. For example, if you take a look at the theme’s demo here you will notice that it does not extent beyond the the content. You can make it narrower, but then it will look bad on pages like the front page.

Regarding centering the menu items. The navigation bar consists of two blocks, the menu and the social icons block. You can center the menu items within their container, but not within the entire navigation width.

Currently the width of the fullwidth template is fixed in the template, you can’t make it narrower I’m afraid.

Hi there, thank you for your reply!
In relation to the content area of the fullwidth template, I’m trying to find out how to make it larger (not narrower). I’ve attached an screenshot to demonstrate what I mean:

Lastly, is there a way to remove the bottom nav/menu bar? Thanks again for all of your help!

I’m sorry, that was a typo on my part, actually the width of the content is built in to the template, so it doesn’t matter if it’s an increase or a decrease, it can’t be modified without editing the template.

To remove the footer menu, go to Appearance -> Menus, create a new empty menu and set it to be the footer menu.
