    hi guys,

so basically I made a test site yesterday for my word press based blog: https://testblog.dacesita.com/ which has to look like my website https://www.dacesita.com All was fine and dandy until now.

I transferred the blog from https://testblog.dacesita.com to the real domain my blog is at: https://blog.dacesita.com/ And even though I transferred everything, the black navigation bar (see #access) suddenly is lower. Have a look, please. When I inspected each element on Chrome it shows that the height is as I want them (43px), but for some reason the black navigation bar doesn’t display the right way.

    any ideas are appreciated.

    thanks.

Clear browser cache and flush DNS, proceed…some files already downloaded may be being reused in the browser and as these may contain old sub-site data, may be cached and not loaded (304)…ctl + f5 to refresh and force…clear browser cache if not…as for DNS, if same IP address but new domain name, browser/system may get confused…flush DNS…

all right, I found the problem.

needed to add position:relative for #access

now it’s back to normal. ??

    cheers!
