• I’m updating a client’s blog, and all of the nav links are working correctly, except one. They are all correct when you hover, but when the PODCAST link is chosen, the “current” css changes don’t show up. They show up for every other link.

I’ve copied & customzied the code from another line, and still no dice.

Site is https://www.truecallings.net and it’s the PODCAST link that is acting up!

  • Jill,

Chances are it has to do with how the podcast link is created. It’s not getting the class =”current” on the link, which is what is controlling the ‘you are here’ look.

Incidentally, if you click on Services, both Services and How we Work light up since they’re linking to the same page.

I’d take a look in the theme’s header file and see if the Podcast link is actually going to a category, or if the PHP needs a little tweak to show class=”current” when you’re viewing that page or category.

    Make sense?

    Thanks!

I’ve copied the code from another line that is working correctly within the list of

    • items, but it still doesn’t show up for me.
    • I’ve deleted the line and added it again, but still it doesn’t show up! GRRR ??

And the Services and How We Work are going to the same page for now ??

The other thing is, this blog has a static front page and the blog posts go to this Podcast page. When it is chosen, it doesn’t show the page name in the nav bar ??
