Nav bar colour coding

  • I have a nav bar for my site with a different colour for each item. I have used the classes area for each one to make them different colours in CSS.

    The problem I have is I don’t want the client to be able to edit the class area and I would like all sub-menus to be the same background colour as their parent menu item.
    The way I have it, if the client adds a child menu, they would need to add the class name also which I don’t want.

    Is there a more logical way for me to to this?
