 max-width: 100%;
}

i put this in css file (in a random place) it didnt work and more info about the nav that the space you see blank there used to be a search bar and i took that out

Open your stylesheet and search for:

.sf-menu, nav.primary .menu {
	max-width: 760px;
	position: absolute;
	top: 125px;
	left: 0;
}

Once you find you it than have 2 options:
1. Delete the line that says max-width: 760px;
2. Change the line from max-width: 760px; to max-width: 1000px;

I would recommend you the second option.

If you made the change in any of the theme’s files, your changes will be erased when the theme updates.

Install this Custom CSS Manager plugin and use its section of the dashboard to hold the code I recommended.
