Name of event not location on global map

    Is it possible to have the balloons on the global map say the name of the event instead of the name of the location? In Settings > Formatting, the map formatting only allows for location related placeholders. I wanted to put the name of the event and when clicked on, takes you to the event page instead of the location name and it taking you to the location page.

  • Unfortunately, it’s not possible to use the #_EVENTNAME placeholder as a formatting option for the locations map.

    That said, it’s possible you could add some custom to the locationsmap.php placeholder template to look up the event name.

    Thank you for the response. Fortunately, I was able to find a way around it. I used the #_LOCATIONNEXTEVENT placeholder. Since I will only be holding one event at a location at a time I shouldn’t run into any problems and each balloon will show the next event at that location.
