Hello, I am hoping to use the WooCommerce Braintree extension to accept credit cards on a WooCommerce site. I have been using Paypal for a few years but am looking forward to improved functionality with Braintree.

This is the error message I cannot get past or find any answers for online. I see lots of people are getting this message and there may not be an answer.

Braintree (PayPal): Heads up! Your name dynamic descriptor is invalid and will not be used. Need help? See the documentation.

I have read the documentation and it shows the format should be something like tadretz*product however that will not work. I have tried every combination and format without success.

Also, the phone number for Braintree is out of service and there is not any support availability on the Braintree website. If Braintree is not operating any longer, let me know.

    Thanks,
    Jon

    Hi @ianerickson,

    Braintree is very much operating.

raintree (PayPal): Heads up! Your name dynamic descriptor is invalid and will not be used. Need help? See the documentation.

That is not an error that my plugin triggers. Are you certain you’re using my plugin and not the similarly named plugin that was created by WooCommerce?

I reviewed your site but you appear to have disabled the Braintree plugin.

    Kind Regards,
