naive newbie questionz

  • i recently changed to wordpress, and finally got it all sort of working.
    [except the post via mail feature that is still not working right!!! hmmm]
    but now i have a few naive questions:
    how does one navigate through the older posts under edit.php in wp-admin?
    it just shows me the last 20 posts, but no back-20-button, or no show-all-posts-this-timeperiod-button, just a textsearch…
    if so, why were these “archive” functions eliminated?
    same thing for comments:
    here it shows me the first twenty comments ever posted to my blog – in octover 2002!!! – but no way to reverse the stacking order, and again no other navigate features than a text search…
    is this new in wp1.1 beta?
    and if so: is there a hack?
