Nags from this plugin but using Gift Card Pro

    Hello, we are using the paid Gift Card Pro plugin. When it’s activated we are getting a Nag at the top indicating that we’ve been using this plugin – “What the File” for some time and would we review it. There’s a link to click. I cannot find What the File in this website at all, but if we deactivate the Gift Card Pro plugin that Nag is removed.

    What’s happening there? Why is that message appearing and is this What the File plugin being installed somewhere where we cannot see it when the Gift Card Pro plugin is activated?

    I am a bit concerned about this.

  • I’ve just come across the same thing on my site. Was searching and found your reply. We’ve only just installed Gift Cards Pro and never saw the message before that.

    yep, exact same here. Installed Pro Version of Gift Card last week and started getting the nag for ‘what the file’ reviews.

    Im going to raise a ticket on their support about this. If they don’t provide buyers clarity it becomes suspicious. Hopefully they can shed some light.

    Hey all,

    This unfortunately is an issue I can’t resolve for you. It seems that “Gift Card Pro” copied our code but forgot to change the URL / name. Please contact their support to fix their code.
