mystile theme header graphic black bar coming in

I want to change my banner graphic and every graphic i bring in using mystile custom logo under general settings, custom logo, it puts a black bar under it. I have tried both png, jpgs, files i have manipulated, files i have purchased and not manipulated in any graphics program but it doesn’t matter. I even put a graphic that I used for a product and it obviously does not have a black bar displaying in the product description featured item. I had tried bringing in at the original size and other sizes and nothing seems to get rid of the black bar.

Do you know of any setting or other thing that might be causing this? Thank you.
