    Hello,

    I’m David. I’m using the Kadence theme with the Child theme downloaded from the official website.

    I have some white space padding at the bottom of a website that I want to get rid of: https://i.imgur.com/zNGPoLT.png

    It appeared one day without an explanation.

    Of course, the first thing that I did was to check the Footer Builder: https://i.imgur.com/N3YwUna.png . I checked all the settings. None of them seemed to do the trick.

    I made sure that the vertical content padding is disabled in Gutenberg for all pages: https://i.imgur.com/X8Xf4s2.png, althought I noticed that the padding is present on all pages, even on posts and WooCommerce generated pages so I don’t know how much this could’ve helped.

    I couldn’t seem to find a setting inside the dashboard or the Kadence theme itself that could take care of it.

    I tried to add some custom CSS inside the Child theme style-sheet. It didn’t work. Tried it inside the Customizer:

    element.style {
    padding-bottom: 0px !important;
    }

    That didn’t work also…

    I made sure that I don’t have any Header & Footer plugins installed.

    I deactivated the Child theme and activated the Parent theme. What’s curious is that the padding for the Parent theme is 50px, while the Child has a 92px padding at the bottom. This leads me to believe that it has something to do with the theme.

    I saw that there was an update. I updated the theme but the padding is still there.

    What else could I do to get rid of that white space?

    Thank you,
    David

    I’ve found the issue.

    It’s because of my browser. I use Brave.

    I am using Kadence Conversions to show a GDPR banner at the bottom. Because Brave blocks JavaScript, that banner doesn’t show up completely. I can’t click on “Accept” in order to make the banner disappear and hence the white space.

    Hello @davidisenoi,

    Thank you for providing the source of the issue. Indeed, if a browser blocks JS, some Kadence features will not work or will look different.
