mysterious problem

  • My page loads are delayed by 5.4 seconds by a plugin (responsive image widget) that I have disabled and deleted. I get this info from the plugin P3 (plugin performance profiler).

    There is no sign of reponsive in the plugins folder. I have used Clean Options and there is no sign of responsive there either.

    Any ideas?

    Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems (because the hooks remain unless plugins completely removed or some plugins stick around in cached files.)

    I have posted on the R-I-W page, but no response.

    Do you know of a method for tracking and removing hooks? I’ve heard of “hooks” but I don’t know how to work with them.

    When and if you get response from the RIW, ask them if that could be the issue with their plugin, and how to work with it.
