Mysterious post appearing in post page list. HACK?

  • A strange post appeared in my post page list. I’m sure I never wrote this post, and I’m the only one who has access to the site.

    The post contained a nggallery single image shortcode [ singlepic id= ] and a post title (same as img filename). I never use the single image shortcode.

    Since a few days I’m also dealing with spam (I believe pingback or trackback), all written to one specific page at my site, the one which also contains the image that turned up in the mysterious post I mention above.

    Is this a hack?

    I already deleted the specific posts and image, but I want to know what’s going on.. Please help!

    p.s. could it be that i maybe pressed a button or something (is there an option in nggallery to automatically create a post or anything like that?)
